Sampling in our „back yard“

Our incubations require fresh samples because storage of natural samples often leads to a change in the microorganism composition. The Fox Hill marsh is close to our lab at GSO and a great place to study methane oxidation and production processes.
In March 2017 we spent a cold but sunny day out to collect samples for a new experiment.
